Old Business
Lancaster Trail Section
Everything is focused on the covered bridge. Terre and Dave Bogear are working on the trail and bridge and still waiting on reimbursement. The Smolens report was found to be in adequate and a new engineering report will be submitted for approval. There will be some Baldwin Run restoration and a possible new bridge over Mary Burnham Park. We are talking with ODOT about 33 underpass under Memorial Drive by K-Mart/Colonial Heights.
Amanda Trail section
Claude Ford spoke to Jennifer Johns and she would like to see the trail happen and wants to meet with us as she needs questions and answers about routings. There was discussion on who could help with the grantwriting. We would need legal right and title to build on property, aerial maps, deeds and resolutions. Grants are due 2/28/05 for a 2.5 mile trail.

Columbus Interurban
Bob Stebelton talked to Dave and he is disappointed with the appraisal and to call back in November.
New Business
It was noted that Neil Shaw is doing well and Betty thanked us for our cards. Bob said Pam Petula will use the trail for alternative biking day and may need some help. We decided the bike tour had gone well. The 10 bike racks stored at county parks need to be branded with aluminum plates. The racks need to be placed. It would also be good to get benches. Jeff wants to set up a meeting with Terre and Dave Bogear. A fundraising campaign may be needed.
Bob Williams moved adjournment, seconded by Dave Scheffler. The meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
Next meeting will be October 18, 2004 at 7:00 p.m.
