Where:
Three Creeks Park, Columbus, OH... Bixby Road Parking Lot
When:
Saturday,
June 3, 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM
Directions:
From Lancaster take 33
NW to Bixby Rd. (You'll find it 1.5 mile past Gender Rd.- CW)
Turn left on Bixby Rd. (you still can)
Follow Bixby Rd., there is a traffic light where it crosses Hamilton Rd.
Continue straight
through on Bixby Rd.
Entrance to park will be approx. 1/2 mile on the right.
Why:
For fun and profit (in the currency of fitness).
To give some younger kids an opportunity to ride in a very safe environment.
To appreciate the beauty of this park and the trail design.
To take note (and possibly photos) of the solutions they've chosen for various trail-building challenges, such as going underneath a 4-lane highway, crossing streams and wetlands, etc..
To give people a nice place to picnic after the ride, should they choose to do so. (The Bixby Rd. location has shelters, a fishing pond, restrooms, grills, you name it)
Everyone is strongly encouraged to wear a helmet.
Everyone must sign a release
form that will be available at the start of the ride.
