The Fairfield Heritage Trail Association is hosting its third ride of the season on June 24^th, 2007.
 

We will be riding the Evan's Trail from Newark to Johnstown and back.
 
The Evans Trail is one of the first rail-trails in Ohio and the country. The surface has been improved in recent years; the scenery is outstanding, and much of the trail is shady.
 

Definitive Start Time:  

1:00 PM (People should arrive by 12:30 so they can prep, sign release & leave on time) Expect to be back by 4:00 PM.

We will meet at the YMCA Parking Lot, 470 W. Church Street, Newark.

Driving directions from Lancaster
	Depart US-22 / W Main St (east) (0.2 mi)
	Turn LEFT (north) onto SR-37 / N High St (24.8 mi)
	Bear RIGHT (northeast) onto ramp toward SR-16 East (3.8 mi)
	Bear RIGHT (east) onto ramp toward Church Street / Country Club Dr (0.3 mi)
	Turn RIGHT (east) onto W Church St (1.4 mi)
	Arrive at 470 W Church St, Newark, OH 43055

Everyone is required to wear a helmet.

Everyone must sign a release form that will be available at the start of the ride.
